Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Fraser & Company(19.83%), Raymond(19.45%), Arshiya (18.97%) and AA Plus Tradelink Ltd.(15.15%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 436.94 points up at 55818.11, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 105.25 points up at 16628.0.


In the Nifty50 index, 28 stocks closed in the green, while 22 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Raymond, Elecon Engg Co, Mahindra Lifespace, Lemon Tree Hotels and Fine Organic Ind. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Regency Investments, Kkalpana lndustries, Nath Ind., HCKK Ventures and Kesar Terminals touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
