Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Jindal Pol Film(20.0%), Universus Photo(19.99%), Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd.(19.98%), Banco Products(19.97%), INEOS Styrolution(17.65%), Apar Industries(17.04%), KLRF Ltd(15.98%), TCPL Packaging(15.41%) and Cenlub Ind(15.07%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 632.13 points up at 54884.66, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 182.3 points up at 16352.45.


In the Nifty50 index, 37 stocks closed in the green, while 13 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as G M Polyplast, Vivid Mercantile, Spenta Intnl, Sungold Media and En and Moongipa Securities hit their fresh 52-week high, while Piramal Ent., Shristi Infra, Pharmaids Pharm, PrismxGlobalVent and Makers Labs touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
