Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Mediaone Global Entertainment Ltd.(57.33%), MRP Agro Ltd.(20.0%), Starteck Finance(19.98%), Nagpur Power(15.79%) and CIL Securities(15.04%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 33.2 points up at 55702.23, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 5.05 points up at 16682.65.


In the Nifty50 index, 21 stocks closed in the green, while 29 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Starteck Finance, Time Technoplast, Ishita Drugs, Decorous Investme and Shish Industries hit their fresh 52-week high, while Kuberan Global Edu Solutions Ltd., Uma Exports Ltd., Zomato Ltd., Natural Biocon(I)and Future Enterprises (DVR)touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
