Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, SKP Securities(20.0%), Manaksia Ltd(20.0%), Nagpur Power(19.97%), Bodhtree Consult(19.92%), Proseed India (18.65%) and Active Clothing Co(17.87%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 701.67 points up at 57521.06, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 206.65 points up at 17245.05.


In the Nifty50 index, 42 stocks closed in the green, while 8 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Manaksia Ltd, Nagpur Power, Active Clothing Co, Sanco Trans and Rita Finance and Leasing Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Karda Const, Zee Learn, Future Consumer, FutureLifestyleFash and Navoday Enterprises Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
