Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, GPT Infraproj(20.0%), Advait Infratech(20.0%), Mold Tek Tech(19.98%), Proseed India (19.97%), Unique Organics(19.92%), Kranti Industries(19.9%), Rishi Laser(19.81%), Stellar Capital Svcs(19.2%), CIL Securities(18.4%) and Gallantt Ispat(17.69%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 776.72 points up at 57356.61, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 246.85 points up at 17200.8.


In the Nifty50 index, 42 stocks closed in the green, while 8 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Advait Infratech, Mold Tek Tech, Kranti Industries, Rita Finance and Leasing Ltd. and Kamat Hotels hit their fresh 52-week high, while PrismxGlobalVent(PP), FutureLifestyleFash, Future Supply Chain, Future Consumer and SORIL Infra Resourc touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
