Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Sky Industries(20.0%), Zim Laboratories(19.99%), ABM Knowledge(19.98%), Capital Trust(19.98%), HB Stockholding(19.97%), HOV Services(19.97%), Brooks Labs(19.97%), Bansal Roofing Prod.(19.96%), Prima Plastics(19.95%) and Super Crop Safe(19.94%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 874.18 points up at 57911.68, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 256.05 points up at 17392.6.


In the Nifty50 index, 42 stocks closed in the green, while 8 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Zim Laboratories, HB Stockholding, Bansal Roofing Prod., Prerna Infra and GKP Printing & Pack hit their fresh 52-week high, while Seacoast Shipping, Kanungo Financiers, Indo-Global Enterpri, Nivaka Fashions and Manraj Housing touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
