Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Shree Krishna Infras(20.0%), Sahyadri Ind(20.0%), Orient Press(20.0%), Weizmann Forex Ltd.[Amalgamated](20.0%), Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities Ltd.(20.0%), IOL Chemicals(20.0%), Emmbi Industries (19.97%), Brooks Labs(19.97%), Vineet Laboratories Ltd.(19.94%) and Spandana Sphoorty(19.74%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 708.18 points up at 59276.69, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 205.7 points up at 17670.45.


In the Nifty50 index, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Shree Krishna Infras, Vidhi Specialty Food, Avantel, Ritco Logistics and Jagsonpal Pharm hit their fresh 52-week high, while GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., Evoq Remedies Ltd., Supreme Infra, Libord Sec and Shree Ganesh Bio-Tec touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
