Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, SK International Exp(20.0%), Omega Interactive Technologies Ltd.(19.96%), Intense Tech(19.94%), Blueblood Ventures L(19.89%), Centrum Capital(19.87%), Gayatri Project(19.71%), ICL Organic Dairy(19.38%), Deep Industries Ltd.(19.09%), Niks Technology Ltd.(16.48%) and Stylam Ind(15.44%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 740.34 points up at 58683.99, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 172.95 points up at 17498.25.


In the Nifty50 index, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Omega Interactive Technologies Ltd., Deep Industries Ltd., Raymond, Atam Valves and Sanco Trans hit their fresh 52-week high, while Evoq Remedies Ltd., GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., SoftTech Engineers, Integra Tele & Soft and Goyal Associate touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
