Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Deepak Spinners(19.99%), Ganesh Housing(19.98%), OrientalAromatics(16.16%), NHC Foods(16.12%) and Bambino Agro(15.15%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 696.81 points up at 57989.3, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 197.9 points up at 17315.5.


In the Nifty50 index, 42 stocks closed in the green, while 8 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Ganesh Housing, Orbit Exports, NIIT, Chalet Hotels and Jindal Drilling hit their fresh 52-week high, while Navigant Corporate A, Future Retail, Ascensive Educare Ltd., Future Consumer and Future Supply Chain touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
