Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

In the Nifty50 index, 29 stocks closed in the green, while 21 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, SM Auto(20.0%), Mold Tek Tech(19.99%) and Indian Sucrose(15.05%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 85.91 points up at 55550.3, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 35.55 points up at 16630.45.


In the Nifty50 index, 29 stocks closed in the green, while 21 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Indian Sucrose, Maithan Alloys, GNFC, Avadh Sugar Energy and Sarda Energy hit their fresh 52-week high, while Karda Const, Aryaman Capital, U P Hotels Ltd., Manraj Housing and Tarini International touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
