Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Sumuka Agro Ind.(19.95%), Jaysynth Dyes(19.95%), Safa Systems & Technologies Ltd.(19.93%), Clarus Infra(19.86%), Anjani Finance(19.77%), Jyoti Resins(19.4%), Orient Bell(19.17%), Jet Infraventure(18.25%), Best Agrolife(18.21%) and Texmaco Rail(18.14%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 1328.61 points up at 55858.52, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 410.45 points up at 16658.4.


In the Nifty50 index, 47 stocks closed in the green, while 3 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Jyoti Resins, Orient Bell, Active Clothing Co, Decillion Finance and Tejnaksh Healthcare hit their fresh 52-week high, while Ridhi Synthetic, Anisha Impex, Varun Mercantile, Narayani Steels and Union Quality touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
