Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, India Lease Dev(20.0%), Poddar Housing(20.0%), Narbada Gems(20.0%), Mahalaxmi Rub(19.99%), Nitta Gelatin(19.99%), Keynote Financial(19.97%), Goa Carbons(19.96%), Billwin Industries L(19.91%), Ausom Enterprise(19.74%) and Naysaa Securities(19.35%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 187.39 points up at 57808.58, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 53.15 points up at 17266.75.


In the Nifty50 index, 30 stocks closed in the green, while 20 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Poddar Housing, Narbada Gems, Mahalaxmi Rub, TVS Electronics and Advani Hotels hit their fresh 52-week high, while Lasa Supergenerics, Sansera Engineering Ltd., Superior Finlease, Milestone Furniture and Yuranus Infrastruct touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
