Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Spandana Sphoorty(20.0%), Nahar Poly Film(20.0%), Shahlon Silk Indust(20.0%), Nahar Capital(19.99%), Jindal Drilling(19.99%), Trans & Rectif(19.94%), Samor Reality Ltd.(18.08%), Dhanvarsha Finvest(15.72%) and Jindal Pol Film(15.21%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 695.76 points up at 59558.33, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 203.15 points up at 17780.0.


In the Nifty50 index, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 10 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Nahar Poly Film, Jindal Drilling, Trans & Rectif, Dhanvarsha Finvest and Jindal Pol Film hit their fresh 52-week high, while Riddhi Corp. Service, Suvidha Infra, Superior Finlease, Janus Corporation and MAC Hotels touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
