Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Aris Intnl(49.96%), Vanta Bioscience(20.0%), Sharda Cropchem(19.99%), Salona Cotspin(19.9%), Ambica Agarbathies & Aroma Industries Ltd.(18.96%), Punjab Alkalies(18.1%), Pressman Advertisin(17.01%), Coral India Finance(15.49%) and Jointeca Edu(15.33%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 366.64 points up at 57858.15, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 128.85 points up at 17277.95.


In the Nifty50 index, 36 stocks closed in the green, while 14 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Aris Intnl, Sharda Cropchem, Punjab Alkalies, Pressman Advertisin and ABB Power hit their fresh 52-week high, while IndiaMART, CarTrade Tech, Superior Finlease, Hind Nat Glass and Palm Jewels touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
