Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, TheBykeHospitality(20.0%), Pearl Global(19.99%), Sundaram Brake(19.99%), Alacrity Sec(19.98%), Clara Industries Ltd.(19.97%), Shree Steel Wire(19.86%), Rexnord Elec(18.91%), Menon Bearings(17.59%), Panchmahal Steel(17.46%) and Apex Frozen Foods(16.71%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 533.15 points up at 61150.04, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 156.6 points up at 18212.35.


In the Nifty50 index, 37 stocks closed in the green, while 13 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Pearl Global, Alacrity Sec, Clara Industries Ltd., Menon Bearings and Panchmahal Steel hit their fresh 52-week high, while Lerthai Finance, Aroma Enterpris, Vaghani Techno, Suvidha Infra and Mena Mani Industries touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
