Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Betex India(20.0%), Dhunseri Invst(20.0%), VeerhealthCare(20.0%), Dhunseri Tea(20.0%), Generic Pharmasec(20.0%), Benara Bearings(20.0%), Bombay Oxygen Invest(20.0%), Duncan Engineering (20.0%), Dynacons Sys(19.99%) and Emami Paper Mil(19.99%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 221.26 points up at 60616.89, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 52.45 points up at 18055.75.


In the Nifty50 index, 24 stocks closed in the green, while 25 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Betex India, Dhunseri Invst, VeerhealthCare, Duncan Engineering and Dynacons Sys hit their fresh 52-week high, while Policy Bazaar, PayTM, Vaghani Techno, Garodia Chem and Mas Fin Services touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
