Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, KIFS Financial(20.0%), Narendra Prop(20.0%), AK Spintex L(20.0%), Orissa Minerals(20.0%), Uttam Sugar Mil(19.98%), Magadh Sugar Energy(19.98%), Dwarikesh Sugar(19.96%), Aarey Drugs Ph(19.94%), SK International Exp(19.94%) and Chemcrux Ent(19.94%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 672.71 points up at 59855.93, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 179.55 points up at 17805.25.


In the Nifty50 index, 36 stocks closed in the green, while 14 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as KIFS Financial, AK Spintex L, Dwarikesh Sugar, Aarey Drugs Ph and Nalin Lease Fin hit their fresh 52-week high, while RCL Retail Ltd., Brandbucket Media & Technology Ltd., Janus Corporation, Valiant Comm and Mas Fin Services touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
