Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Riddhi Steel and Tub(20.0%), Manaksia Steels(20.0%), Oriental Trimex(20.0%), Veljan Denison(20.0%), Innovative Tech(20.0%), Arihant Capital(19.99%), Ansal Buildwell(19.99%), Vama Industries(19.98%), T T Ltd(19.97%) and Delton Cables(19.97%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 929.4 points up at 59183.22, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 271.65 points up at 17625.7.


In the Nifty50 index, 44 stocks closed in the green, while 6 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Ansal Buildwell, Arihant Capital, Vama Industries, T T Ltd and Delton Cables hit their fresh 52-week high, while RCL Retail Ltd., Kkrrafton Developers, Janus Corporation, Bharat Textiles and Brandbucket Media & Technology Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
