Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Titaanium Ten Enterp(20.0%), BGR Energy(20.0%), CMI Ltd(20.0%), Anjani Finance(20.0%), MSP Steel(19.97%), Sadhana Nitro(19.96%), Essar Shipping(19.96%), Jyoti Ltd(19.95%), Alpa Labs(19.94%) and Poojawestern Metalik(19.9%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 459.5 points up at 58253.82, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 150.1 points up at 17354.05.


In the Nifty50 index, 44 stocks closed in the green, while 6 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Titaanium Ten Enterp, BGR Energy, MSP Steel, Sadhana Nitro and Alpa Labs hit their fresh 52-week high, while Manipal Finance, Janus Corporation, IITL Projects, Milestone Furniture and Brandbucket Media & Technology Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
