Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Shamrock Industrial Company Ltd.(57.27%), Filtra Consultants &(20.0%), Haryana Capfin(20.0%), Share India Sec(20.0%), HP Cotton Text(20.0%), Lokesh Machines(20.0%), Mitsu Chem Plast(19.98%), Cambridge Tech(19.97%), Trigyn Tech(19.97%) and Sakthi Finance(19.79%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 611.55 points up at 56930.56, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 184.6 points up at 16955.45.


In the Nifty50 index, 41 stocks closed in the green, while 9 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Shamrock Industrial Company Ltd., Haryana Capfin, HP Cotton Text, Sandur Manganese and Kabra Extrusion hit their fresh 52-week high, while Janus Corporation, Vikas Multicorp(PP), Generic Engg, RCL Retail Ltd. and CarTrade Tech touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
