Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Resonance Spec(20.0%), RR Metalmakers India(19.98%), MPL Plastics (19.97%), Tirupati Sarjan(19.97%), Century Extrus(19.96%), Next Mediaworks(19.94%), Ad-Manum Fin(19.9%), WEP Solutions(19.87%), Aartech Solonics(19.85%) and Reliance Comm(19.8%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 157.45 points up at 58807.13, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 47.1 points up at 17516.85.


In the Nifty50 index, 28 stocks closed in the green, while 22 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Next Mediaworks, Ad-Manum Fin, WEP Solutions, Aartech Solonics and Auto Corp Goa hit their fresh 52-week high, while Patel Integrat(PP), SK International Exp, Nexus Commoditie, Vallabh Steels and V R Woodart touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
