Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, DMR Hydroengineering & Infrastructure Ltd.(25.0%), Hitech Corporation (20.0%), Racl Geartech (20.0%), Ramky Infra(19.99%), Modison Metals(19.98%), Rajdarshan Ind(19.97%), Suraj Ltd(19.95%), Ansal Housing(19.92%), Utique Enterprises(19.88%) and Sarthak Metals(19.87%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 886.51 points up at 57633.65, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 264.45 points up at 17176.7.


In the Nifty50 index, 45 stocks closed in the green, while 5 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as DMR Hydroengineering & Infrastructure Ltd., Hitech Corporation, Racl Geartech, Ramky Infra and Modison Metals hit their fresh 52-week high, while Athena Constructions, Emergent Global Edu, Sparkling(India), ANS Industries and Stephanotis Finance touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
