Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Sika Interplant(20.00%), Anupam Finserv(19.63%), Quick Heal Tech(17.47%) and Saptak Chem(15.31%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 260.74 points up at 80998.25, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 77.71 points up at 24620.2.


In the Nifty50 index, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Sika Interplant, Anupam Finserv, Reliance Infra, Pratik Panels and Camlin Fine Sc hit their fresh 52-week high, while Aditya Birla Retail, Lasa Supergenerics, Prostarm Info System, Indergiri Fin and Nettlinx Ltd touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
