Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, AMJ Land Holdings (20.00%), BCPL Railway Infra(19.99%), Khaitan(India)(19.99%), Indo Rama Synth(19.98%), Generic Engg(19.97%), Kanpur Plastip(19.97%), Envair Electro(19.28%), IVP Ltd(18.89%), Thirani Projects(18.57%) and Alstone Textiles(18.51%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 182.34 points up at 81330.56, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 88.56 points up at 24666.9.


In the Nifty50 index, 38 stocks closed in the green, while 12 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Kanpur Plastip, Stampede Cap(DVR), Fusion Micro Finance(PP), Alfred Herbert and Authum Investment hit their fresh 52-week high, while Raymond, Trinity League, Jamshri Realty, Pradhin Ltd. and K&R Rail Engineering touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
