Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Dalmia Industrial Development(57.44%), Indowind Energy(20.00%), Agri-Tech(India)(20.00%), Vaswani Ind(20.00%), Anjani Portland(19.99%), Manaksia Steels(19.99%), Taylormade Renewable(19.99%), Rajratan Global(19.99%), Kohinoor Foods(19.99%) and Jasch Ind(19.98%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 187.09 points up at 79595.59, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 41.71 points up at 24167.25.


In the Nifty50 index, 13 stocks closed in the green, while 22 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Dalmia Industrial Development, Bemco Hydraulic, Shri Jagdamba, Vadilal Ind and Sika Interplant hit their fresh 52-week high, while Bhakti Gems & Jewellery, Nam Securities, Dhruva Capital, Gensol Engg and Sterling Guar touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
