Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Xelpmoc Design(20.00%), Hindustan Motor(20.00%), Smart Finsec(20.00%), Deccan GoldMine(19.99%), Liberty Shoes(19.99%), Texmo Pipe Prod(19.99%), United Interactive(19.99%), Taylormade Renewable(19.99%), Alfa Ica(19.99%) and Spandana Sphoorty(19.98%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 855.3 points up at 79408.5, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 273.9 points up at 24125.55.


In the Nifty50 index, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Aavas Financiers, Rishabh Digha, Bemco Hydraulic, Sika Interplant and Mideast Portfolio Management hit their fresh 52-week high, while Jaybharat Text, Dhruva Capital, Sterling Guar, Nat Gen Ind and Gensol Engg touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
