Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Niraj Cement(20.00%), Technojet Cons(20.00%), KPT Industries(20.00%), NACL Industries (19.99%), Jainco Projects(19.94%), Asahi Songwon(15.79%) and Elgi Equipments(15.35%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 341.04 points up at 74169.95, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 111.55 points up at 22508.75.


In the Nifty50 index, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Technojet Cons, NACL Industries, Jainco Projects, Kamat Hotels and Avanti Feeds hit their fresh 52-week high, while Scanpoint Geo, Goldstone Tech, Capital Trade Links, Inventurus Knowledge and Asian Oilfield touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
