Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, ABB Power(19.99%), UFO Moviez(19.97%), SRG Housing Fin(19.20%), Shanthi Gears(18.67%), Khadim India(17.60%) and Associated Alcohols & Breweries(15.93%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 226.85 points up at 76759.81, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 86.41 points up at 23249.5.


In the Nifty50 index, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 15 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Associated Alcohols & Breweries, Blue Jet Healthcare, Jindal Drilling, Tanfac Ind and CarTrade Tech hit their fresh 52-week high, while Raymond Lifestyle L, Rose Merc. Ltd., Tata Motors, Forbes Company and Deepak Spinners touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
