Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Nova Pub(20.00%), Quadrant Future Tek(20.00%), Mamata Machinery(19.99%), Standard Glass Linin(19.97%) and Take Solutions(16.52%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 224.45 points up at 76724.08, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 37.16 points at 23213.2.


In the Nifty50 index, 26 stocks closed in the green, while 24 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Quadrant Future Tek, Standard Glass Linin, Newgen Software, Octal Credit Capital and Hilltone Soft&Gases hit their fresh 52-week high, while Network18 Media, VIP Ind., De Nora India, NMS Resources Global and Carraro India L touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
