Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Rajasthan Cylinders(20.00%), Rico Auto(19.58%), Jumbo Bags(18.92%), Bilcare Ltd(18.77%), Aditya Spinners(17.56%), Amines Plastic(16.88%) and Sundaram Finance(15.05%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 1436.3 points up at 79943.71, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 445.75 points at 24188.65.


In the Nifty50 index, 48 stocks closed in the green, while 2 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Aditya Spinners, Transrail Lighting L, Makers Labs, Dhani Services and Choksi Labs hit their fresh 52-week high, while Jai Corp, Transgene Biotek, IGC Industries, Shangar Decor and Salasar Techno Engg touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
