Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Atlas Cycles(1222.60%), Sri Chakra Cement(57.49%), Prime Property(20.00%), Caprolactam Chem(20.00%), Ashirwad Steels(20.00%), Greaves Cotton(19.98%) and Kachchh Mineral(16.55%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 226.59 points up at 78699.07, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 63.21 points at 23813.4.


In the Nifty50 index, 29 stocks closed in the green, while 21 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Atlas Cycles, Greaves Cotton, MPDL, CJ Gelatine Prod and Caplin Point hit their fresh 52-week high, while Odigma Consultancy, Universus Photo, IGC Industries, Delta Industrial Res and Aki India touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
