Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Venmax Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(57.41%), Ikab Securities(19.99%), Response Informatic(19.99%), Lincoln Pharma(19.99%), Niva Bupa Health Ins(19.99%), Vadilal Enterprises(19.99%), Bang Overseas(19.98%), Bharat Bhushan(19.98%), Oricon Enterprises(19.98%) and IO System Ltd(19.88%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 110.58 points up at 80956.33, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 10.3 points at 24467.45.


In the Nifty50 index, 22 stocks closed in the green, while 28 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Venmax Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Niva Bupa Health Ins, Vadilal Enterprises, Lincoln Pharma and Bharat Bhushan hit their fresh 52-week high, while Dhanvarsha Finvest, Aki India, Rajesh Exports, Grandma Trading and Capital Small Finance Bank touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
