Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Cupid Breweries & Distilleries Ltd.(57.48%), Rathi Bars(20.00%), Lincoln Pharma(19.99%), Bang Overseas(19.98%), Jindal Worldwide(19.97%), Vision Cinemas(19.84%), BSL Ltd(19.43%), Shivalik Rasayan(17.30%), KBS India(16.37%) and Gujarat Intrux(15.86%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 597.67 points up at 80845.75, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 181.11 points at 24457.15.


In the Nifty50 index, 41 stocks closed in the green, while 9 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as BSL Ltd, Enviro Infra Enginee, Thirani Projects, Dharamsi Morarji and Fermenta Biotech hit their fresh 52-week high, while Aki India, C.E. Info Systems, Nettlinx Ltd, MSR India and Dhanvarsha Finvest touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
