Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

In the Nifty50 index, 26 stocks closed in the green, while 24 stocks ended in the red.

Investors should therefore use dips towards 15,200-15,400 to their advantage to accumulate quality largecaps and midcaps.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Indo Cotspin(20.00%), Chennai Multi(19.99%), Ola Electric Mobilit(19.99%), Adani Gas(19.76%), Adani Power(19.65%), Thirani Projects(18.58%), Ellora Trading Ltd.(18.33%), Xpro India(17.33%) and Shaily Engg Plastics(16.35%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 230.02 points up at 80234.08, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 80.41 points at 24274.9.

In the Nifty50 index, 26 stocks closed in the green, while 24 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Xpro India, Shaily Engg Plastics, Bampsl Sec, VTM Ltd and Nahar Capital hit their fresh 52-week high, while WABCO India, Inditrade Capital, Hathway Cable, Alliance Int. and ObjectOne Information Systems touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
