Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Omansh Enterprises(20.00%), Dhoot Ind(19.99%), Modern Dairies(19.99%), Nova Pub(19.98%), Amrapali Ind(19.98%), Punjab Comm(19.98%), Emmessar Biotech(19.98%), NPR Finance(19.97%), India Finsec(19.97%) and Tuni Textile(18.60%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 694.39 points up at 79476.63, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 217.96 points at 24213.3.


In the Nifty50 index, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Omansh Enterprises, Modern Dairies, Dhoot Ind, Amrapali Ind and Waaree Energies hit their fresh 52-week high, while Ola Electric Mobilit, Rajnish Wellness, Garuda Construction, Star Health and Popular Vehicles touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
