Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Elcid Investments(46.71%), Baba Arts(19.97%), Purple Entertainment(18.80%), Toyam Industries (17.06%), Mangalam Industrial(15.71%), Syrma SGS Technology(15.27%) and The Anup Engg(15.13%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 363.99 points up at 80369.03, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 127.7 points at 24466.85.


In the Nifty50 index, 31 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Elcid Investments, The Anup Engg, Dynamic Cables, Ami Organics and SJS Enterprises hit their fresh 52-week high, while Shankar Lal Rampal, Spandana Sphoorty, Ashapura Minechem, ideaForge Technology and Rajnish Wellness touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
