Sensex rises! These stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Wednesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Pondy Oxides(14.3%), Orient Refractories(13.07%), Essar Shipping(12.49%), Sadbhav Eng(12.4%), Rashtriya Chemicals(11.65%), FACT(10.79%), NBCC (10.48%), Jay Ushin(10.45%), Vikas Ecotech (10.3%) and Mafatlal Ind(10.21%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 91.62 points up at 61510.58, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 23.05 points up at 18267.25.


In the Nifty 50 index, 24 stocks ended in the green, while 25 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Achyut Healthcare Ltd., Jay Ushin, Concord Control Systems Ltd., Humming Bird Educat and Garg Furnace hit their fresh 52-week high, while Olectra Greentech, Suumaya Corporation Ltd., Sintex Plastics Tech, Jet Airways and Pace E-Commerce Ventures Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
