Sensex rises! These stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Tuesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Containe Technologies Ltd.(15.0%), Tiger Logistics (13.17%), Filtra Consultants &(13.04%), Raj Packaging(12.21%), Shriram Asset(12.09%), Star Delta Tran(10.98%), Alicon Castalloy(10.93%), Ansal Housing(10.88%), Satin Creditcare(10.56%) and RTS Power(10.37%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 549.62 points up at 58960.6, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 175.15 points up at 17486.95.


In the Nifty 50 index, 40 stocks ended in the green, while 10 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Containe Technologies Ltd., Data Patterns(India)Ltd., Panorama Studios Int, Dynamic Cables and Orient Refractories hit their fresh 52-week high, while Motherson Sumi, Omkar Speciality, GVK Power Infra, Unison Metals and Mehai Technology touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
