Sensex rises! These stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Wednesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Meghmani Finechem Ltd.(14.69%), Mold Tek Tech(13.99%), Anjani Synth(13.85%), Dhanashree Electro(13.62%), Southern Petro(13.23%), B&A Ltd(12.83%), Gufic BioSci(12.75%), Gretex Corporate Services Ltd.(12.68%), Genus Pwr Infra(11.95%) and Spencer's Retail Ltd.(11.61%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 574.35 points up at 57037.5, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 177.9 points up at 17136.55.


In the Nifty 50 index, 37 stocks ended in the green, while 13 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Dhanlaxmi Fab, MRPL, Texmaco Rail, Chennai Petro and Meghmani Finechem Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Octaware Technologie, Nivaka Fashions, INEOS Styrolution, Kanungo Financiers and Tilak Ventures (PP)touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
