Sensex rises! These stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Monday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Ingersoll-Rand(14.5%), CreditAccess Grameen(14.24%), Morarka Finance(14.06%), Oriental Hotels(12.8%), Avadh Sugar Energy(12.74%), Emami Paper Mil(12.38%), Deccan Health Care(11.81%), Dhampure Special(11.6%), Sukhjit Starch(11.32%) and AVT Nat Prod(11.25%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 935.72 points up at 56486.02, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 240.85 points up at 16871.3.


In the Nifty 50 index, 37 stocks ended in the green, while 13 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Technocraft Ind, Ganges Securities, Dhampur Sugar, Usha Martin and Ingersoll-Rand hit their fresh 52-week high, while Omega Interactive Technologies Ltd., PayTM, Jubilant Food, Future Supply Chain and U P Hotels Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
