Sensex rises! These stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Tuesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Astra Microwave(13.52%), Kennametal India(12.88%), Responsive Ind.(12.25%), Gujarat Ambuja(11.99%), Shri Keshav Cem(11.73%), Yug Decor(11.38%), Som Distill(11.22%), Indian Metals(10.95%), Prabhat Tech(10.69%) and Shiva Texyarn(10.5%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 581.34 points up at 53424.09, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 150.3 points up at 16013.45.


In the Nifty 50 index, 37 stocks ended in the green, while 12 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as U P Hotels Ltd., Mawana Sugars, Kennametal India, Prime Fresh and Future Enterprises (DVR)hit their fresh 52-week high, while RCL Retail Ltd., Valencia Nutrition L, JK Cement, McNally Bharat and G G Engineering touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
