Sensex rises! These stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Wednesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Sheela Foam(14.93%), Capital Trust(14.29%), Mitshi India (13.26%), Evans Electric(13.25%), Orbit Exports(13.16%), Menon Pistons(12.97%), Sequent Scientific(12.75%), HIM Teknoforge(12.73%), Mitsu Chem Plast(11.87%) and Innovators Facade Sy(11.6%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 533.15 points up at 61150.04, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 156.6 points up at 18212.35.


In the Nifty 50 index, 37 stocks ended in the green, while 13 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Pearl Global, Alacrity Sec, Clara Industries Ltd., Menon Bearings and Panchmahal Steel hit their fresh 52-week high, while Lerthai Finance, Aroma Enterpris, Vaghani Techno, Suvidha Infra and Mena Mani Industries touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
