Sensex rises! These stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Wednesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Punjab Comm(14.38%), Sarthak Metals(13.95%), HP Cotton Text(13.75%), Greenlam Ind(13.52%), Stanrose Mafat(12.65%), Ashima Ltd(12.05%), HFCL(11.83%), North Eastern(11.62%), Lovable Lingerie(11.4%) and Cybertech Sys(11.27%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 1016.03 points up at 58649.68, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 293.05 points up at 17469.75.


In the Nifty 50 index, 45 stocks ended in the green, while 5 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Gujarat Lease, Rajdarshan Ind, Suraj Ltd, Modipon Ltd and Motor Gen Fin hit their fresh 52-week high, while Janus Corporation, Whirlpool India, Alfa Transform, Skyline Ventures and Nova Pub touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
