Sensex rises! These stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Monday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Trans & Rectif(13.73%), Generic Engg(13.41%), Maharashtra Seam.(12.95%), SNL Bearings(12.91%), Tasty Dairy Speciali(12.5%), Chemplast Sanmar Ltd.(12.32%), Siyaram Silk(12.19%), DCM Shriram (12.18%), HEG(11.8%) and Solar Ind.(11.38%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 533.74 points up at 59299.32, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 159.2 points up at 17691.25.


In the Nifty 50 index, 37 stocks ended in the green, while 13 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as PlatinumOne Business Services Ltd., Bella Casa Fashion, Alkali Metals, Patel Eng and RTS Power hit their fresh 52-week high, while Milgrey Finance, SBL Infratech Ltd., Shanti Educational, Purple Entertainment and Jiya Eco Products Lt touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
