Sensex rises! These stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Wednesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Mohit Paper Mil(14.60%), TPL Plastech(13.05%), Rane Eng Valve(12.71%), Aro Granite Ind(12.53%), Himalaya Food (11.91%), Thacker Co(11.62%), Gala Precision Engin(11.41%), SMS Lifesciences Ind(11.29%), Emmbi Industries (11.17%) and Samhi Hotels(11.10%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 309.4 points up at 77044.29, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 108.66 points up at 23437.2.


In the Nifty 50 index, 33 stocks ended in the green, while 17 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Sanathan Textiles, Sofcom Systems, Ajax Engineering, Gallantt Metal and Pankaj Polymers hit their fresh 52-week high, while Gensol Engg, Thakral Service, Boston Bio Systems Ltd., Golden Tobacco and Maitri Enterprises touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
