Sensex rises! These stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Monday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, VJTF Eduservice(14.43%), Hemang Resources (14.11%), Nagreeka Export(14.09%), Global Surfaces(13.94%), Salzer Electro(13.87%), Rathi Steel Pwr(13.81%), South India Paper Mills(13.56%), Omni Axs Software (13.37%), Lotus Eye Hosp(13.36%) and Rajesh Exports(13.24%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 1078.87 points up at 77984.38, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 307.95 points up at 23658.35.


In the Nifty 50 index, 42 stocks ended in the green, while 8 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Cura Tech, Dhanalaxmi Roto, Ador Multiprod, Towa Sokki and Kaveri Seed Co. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Standard Surfact, Virtual Global, Khoobsurat Ltd, Vibrant Global Cap and Swati Projects touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
