Sensex rises! These stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Thursday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Deccan Health Care(14.87%), Kirloskar Electric Co(14.74%), Unison Metals(14.58%), Panafic Industrials(14.56%), Manomay Tex India(14.42%), Wendt India(14.20%), Kwality Pharmaceutic(14.08%), Hazoor Multi(13.63%), Sportking India(13.24%) and Looks Health Services(13.12%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 609.86 points up at 74340.09, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 207.41 points up at 22544.7.


In the Nifty 50 index, 42 stocks ended in the green, while 8 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Triumph International Finance India Ltd., Sobhagya Mercantile, Gyan Developers, Reliance Naval & Engg and Bio Green Paper hit their fresh 52-week high, while ObjectOne Information Systems, Hemo Organic, Gensol Engg, B C Power Controls and B&B Triplewall Containers touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
