Sensex rises! These stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the on Thursday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Khaitan Chem(14.50%), Commercial Engg(14.27%), Vishal Fabrics(13.16%), Scanpoint Geo(12.45%), D P Abhushan(12.21%), Guj Mineral Dev.(11.70%), Rajshree Sugars(11.06%), Texmaco Rail(10.99%), Mazda Ltd(10.86%) and Dhampur Sugar(10.70%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 318.74 points up at 77042.82, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 98.6 points at 23311.8.


In the Nifty 50 index, 32 stocks ended in the green, while 18 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as G G Automotive Gears, Mazda Ltd, Sri Chakra Cement, DJS Stock & Shares Ltd. and Benares Hotels hit their fresh 52-week high, while Mitshi India, Alliance Int., Noida Toll Bridge Co, Quadrant Tele and Danlaw Technologies touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
