Sensex rises! These stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the on Tuesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Kanpur Plastip(14.86%), Dharamsi Morarji(14.15%), HEG(13.84%), Bajaj Steel(13.47%), Indbank Merchant Banking(12.52%), Orient Press(12.35%), Fermenta Biotech(11.84%), Vadilal Enterprises(11.68%), Remi Edelstahl(11.58%) and Banaras Beads(11.27%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 597.67 points up at 80845.75, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 181.11 points at 24457.15.


In the Nifty 50 index, 41 stocks ended in the green, while 9 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as BSL Ltd, Enviro Infra Enginee, Thirani Projects, Dharamsi Morarji and Fermenta Biotech hit their fresh 52-week high, while Aki India, C.E. Info Systems, Nettlinx Ltd, MSR India and Dhanvarsha Finvest touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
