Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Friday's trade on Dalal Street as benchmark Sensex traded 981.64 points up at 61595.34 level on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Among these top gainers were Tai Industries(up 9.98%), Future Supply Chain(up 9.94%), Rossell India(up 9.93%), Premier Capital Services Ltd.(up 9.92%), GPT Infraproj(up 9.86%), Saksoft Ltd(up 9.61%), Saianand Commercial Ltd.(up 9.46%), Zomato Ltd.(up 9.3%), HB Stockholding(up 9.2%) and Welcon International(up 9.05%).

In the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers included Infosys(up 4.21%), TCS(up 4.00%), Wipro(up 3.74%), HCL Tech(up 3.74%) and Tech Mahindra(up 3.55%).


The Nifty 50 index was trading 279.8 points higher at 18308.0.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty pack, 46 shares traded in the green, while 4 traded in the red.
